Angkor in Cambodia , (39 images) We decided to show pictures from other countries in the region and not only Thailand, even that is our main target. We have recently visited Angkor in Cambodia. It is an ancient city with marvelous old temples and ruins. The Cambodia country is poor and undeveloped. The Siem Reap city close to Angkor can prosper because of all the tourists visiting Angkor. Angkor, the former capital of Cambodia had its great period of activity and wealth during the years 800 to 1200 AC.
